United being very quiet?

It has been very quiet from the UAL folks lately, has US Air been grabbing all the headlines? No more merger talk lately, does anyone see them hiring off the street soon? Thanks

Not according to anybody who actually knows. They just informed a fellow furloughee that he should get his put up or shut up moment for a September class - and there are more than 500 furloughees senior to him that will remain to be asked.
