Apparently Guam is about to lose Inchon flying to ANA and Cairns is about to be removed from Guam's lineup. What does that mean?, A base reduction of about 20 to 40 pilots to be displaced.

Welcome to the free fall.

Well that came out of left field. Not sure why ANA would want to duke it out between Korea and Guam given they don't fly Japan to Guam. And Cairns is flown 2X/week so it would hardly cause a free fall. Is it time for a tree snake joke yet? Btw what's your latest revised BK announcement date?

Yep and also ended Niigata and Okayama as well. Funny thing is the block hours in Guam have slightly gone up...

Fun thing is every displacement out of Guam gets a company paid move to next base. Expensive bump to say the least. But tie1on probably didn't know that...

Drop in the bucket. IAH is supposed to reduce 200 737 CA, 100 737 FO and 40 756 CA in a reduction bid after the summer. Maybe ANA will fly out of IAH too. We don't need no stinkin airplanes.

We need them ......just not in IAH apparently.

ANA is starting service to IAH in June from NRT. They used to fly to Guam so wouldn't be that difficult to imagine it happening again. However, I have not heard any announcements or even rumors to it happening again.
