I have finally worn out the two pairs of uniform pants I bought in 2002 as a new hire for a now defunct little airline. Thing is, these were some awesome pants. Probably had about 250 14-Hour duty days in each of those things and dry cleaned them almost as many times. Good look, good fit, and durable. Only had to bring 'em to the tailor maybe once for minor mending.

Anyway, this question is for you airline pilot on the board - who supplies your company with uniform pants and do you have a link or phone number so I can place an order. Please don't respond if you don't like the ones you have. I want to buy something similar to what I had before, preferably Blues not Black.

By the way, mine are labeled RODES, but I am having trouble finding a way to order from this company.

Thanks.

Got mine from M&H Uniforms with my airline in 2000. They are still going strong with almost no fading (black). Great pants. Amazing how heavy they are though for as thin as the fabric is. Just a couple pair of them weigh quite a bit. Highly recommended. Not sure if you can buy them direct as an individual or not.

Thanks man. Greatly appreciated.

I prefer Cintas pants to M and H uniform pants. Cintas fit me better and see to hold that pressed look better. M and H pants have more of a true suit like dress pant look though.

I think that polyester/wool blend uniform pants should be banned. I hate putting those things on, especially if I've got a 16 hour day ahead of me. I can't wait to get out of them the moment I hit the hotel, and you'll never find me jumpseating or deadheading in them.

I wonder if I can find a doctor who'll certify that I'm allergic to poly/wool blends so that I'll be able to wear a pair of Dockers instead. ;)

I'm suppose to be wearing pants? Why...why...why do I always miss the memos on these things.

Oh well....press on without them!

I asked my brother, Chico about pants and he said, "Well lemmie tells ya bout pants boss". "First ting you gotta do is a goa down toa do Kohls or da Target or someding lika dat and taka you uniformo tie wit ya." "Den youse looks around to findsa da right color pants what matcha da tie." "Den youa buys two pairs of a da pants and you in business."

"See boss inada summer times itsa real hot ana you dona weara no jacket and nobody dona know no difference and itsa real cheeaper, Hokay boss?"

Everyone needs an Italian brother like Chico now and again these days.

I flew with a male Captain last week who wore Dickies. Yep, Navy blue Dickies. And there I was wearing nice slacks. I'm about to steal myself some plain ol' ramp pants and call it a day! :p

Honestly, the new Wal-Mart "George" brand, pleated front plain black dress pants look terrific, nice and cool, and have the nice 2" inch extra stretch so they still fit at your winter-weight!

Cintas is a racket anyway.

Cintas sucks, their crap is expensive and it falls apart qucikly.

Levis "action slacks"

I'm sure there is a joke there somewhere, I just can't think of it!

I'll second the M&H pants. They have a large wool component yet respond well to washer/dryer. They've got a little grabby shirt hold down device inside the waistband, and come in pleated/flat front styles. Best uniform pant solution I've come across. Also heard good things about Levi's Action slacks - they are real pants, NOT warmed over dockers.
