going to know where that is? I teach my students to make all calls depending on if the weather is VFR or IFR.

AIM 4-1-9, g., 4. Practice Approaches. That is the recommended procedure.

The correct frequency for "Chat" is 122.75 or 122.85. It has been discussed in another thread that 123.45 is reserved by the FCC/FAA for other purposes.
