anyone know if you can get unemployment benefits in a voluntary furlough situation? And if so - do you get them from the state you work in or the state you live in?

Call you HR department, they can tell ya. Off hand, if you volunteer to leave, I would think the company would not pay the unemployment benefit.

Normally, unemployment benefits are paid in the state in which live.

If HR says no, apply anyway, u got nothing to lose and it might work.

How long do you have to be with the company inorder to get this?
Usually after six months or if you worked at a previous job for that amount of time.
