I'll second the comments of the one who posted you should be glad they even announce they exist. I remember going home right after getting my private (I was based at KPDK back then), you know fresh and gung-ho about pilot reporting, parallel runway ops fresh in my head etc etc. Then I do a pleasure flight back home, making landings at the longest (TJBQ) and the shortest (X64) runways I've ever encountered to date, during the same flight, all while dealing with the occasional pirata going about his business, popping out of the valleys and rolling in for a half-ass base to final, no radio announcement whatsoever, and to top it off start blabbering on frequency about a parking spot in Spanish...not a problem for a local lilke me, but once again, bless those who at least say something while still in the air. When I went back to PDK, even with the ridiculous parallel runway and crazy traffic, I felt like in daycare.
