Saw a report on Dateline last week about unclaimed property.
Started doing some searchs and found money owed to my mother and she passed 12 years ago. Also, found some for my wife using her maiden name from 30 years ago. California's been holding it that long. Also found some money for my dad and my sister.
Anyway the site is unclaimed.org. It provides the web addresses for all the states' web sites.
Check it out, you might find some long lost money.
