IMO, the chinese-speaking airline pilots and the french are some of the most difficult to understand over the radio. I feel for the us-based controllers...

Funny but not surprising. China eastern got lost more then a few times on the ground at JFK. I will never forget the words..."Alright everybody stop China Eastern is lost" from ground at JFK one night. That was back in the days when a 4 hr taxi was the norm.
