Oh, no doubt! AWAC chose an extra seat vs. the APU, so that screwed things up.

Had some of those non APU birds from AWAC at PSA. Hated seeing those tail numbers on a cold Pittsburgh morning. Great plane to fly.

The first dozen D328's at PSA didn't have APUs because the airframe wasn't designed for it. Later on they were retrofitted with APUs when it was certified. PSA doesn't have any A/C carts and hardly any GPU's. We ran on Batts for 20 min during boarding and baked/froze. At least they didn't have those IRUs.

I miss to Do-Jet too!
Especially in the summer time when the cocpit panels would fall off because the adhesive that held on the velcro would melt!!

The velcro was worn out from all of us looking at the porn, it wasn't the adhesive's fault!
