Great, I'm glad for you. The compensation at "legacies" is coming down to match what the LCCs have. That is not a slam on LCCs (I admire Frontier), but just the way business is going in this country. I agree with Mugs that it is self-serving for you to be hoping for a strike at UAL (in other words, for the airline to go away via Ch7). If you want to see UAL disappear I couldn't care less, but don't post about how UAL employees should be taking a stand against having their contracts roughly match yours.

I dont wish you to go down. I would not want anybody to lose a job, no matter how arrogant or how sweet. I am glad UAL has high pay and great pension. I am happy at F9.(who cares though)

My point is that, stand up to these self centered managers with golden parachutes. Demand an exit plan, and dont drag the whole industry down.

True in good times UAL hadd the best contract and F9 didnt. But today take a close look at our pay compared to yours....I dont think we are dragging anyone down.

Again, my point is not to start a war; I am frustrated to see the airline pilots of today lose everything they have earned through their past strikes and fights.

I'm not too sure that the pilots can demand an exit strategy. They don't have stock any more, so the shareholders are the ones who have to lose patients and make demands.
