The 35% raise that was supposed to take place starting in 2000, it was over a number of years. Job action short of strike to get managements attention. Drop off in pax loads, followed by 9-11 the next year, followed by BK shortly thereafter, that is what I was blabbing about. All covered by ATW.
OK, but this is nothing like that. There is no job action, the damage to the company's reputation is being done to themselves by poor management (admitted by them). Also, there has been no significant load decrease despite the problems.
As far as a 9-11 type of event, there is always a chance of, but unlikely.
So, what is your point? Are you saying we shouldn't ask for any raises because the company needs our help and it might hurt the pilots in the long run?
