UAL bubbas... trivial question

To add to that, there is an icing MEL restriction for those lights being inop so it's a good idea to know early if they don't work which is why I think they have that in there. In a previous life, we used to test them ourselves in flight at night to make sure they work to get a jump on things for the same reason.
 
Agreed, it is amazing how a thread on checking your wing ICE LIGHTS is even brought up as a "needed" item and why an operator checks it at the gate.....wow.

I actually think that most on this forum don't even fly.
