(NewsCore) - Two San Francisco men were being held in jail Tuesday after they allegedly fired at a group of paragliders with pellet guns.
Alex Attard, 38, and Edward Amatori, 49, were arrested Saturday and charged with three felony counts each of assault with a deadly weapon, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Two men and one woman were preparing to go paragliding Saturday near Daly City, just south of San Francisco, when they heard four or five shots, Daly City police Sgt. Michael Barton said.
Police responded to the scene and found the two suspects "hunkered down" in bushes and two .22-caliber pellet rifles nearby, according to Barton.
No one was injured in the incident.
Attard and Amatori were being held on $25,000 bail, San Mateo County district attorney spokesperson Karen Guidotti said.
They pleaded not guilty Monday.
