Ah yes, the humanitarian mission to the Bahamas in February.

Akron, Ohio has a white 747SP out on the tarmac and it was loading up to fly somewhere. While taxiing in, I casually asked who they 747 belonged to. All I could get out of the controller, was that it belonged to a T.V. evangalist. Ah yes, the religion business is good!
I forget his name, but he is from the area. He also decided to build a restraunt on top of a big cement tower by an airport. Problem is he forgot to ask the FAA. Now for years the tower has just stood there, with no restraunt on top. The restraunt was going to spin.

Passengers back Osteen, say they saw no assault

By JUAN A. LOZANO – 29 minutes ago
HOUSTON (AP) — Passengers and a pilot testified Wednesday they never saw or heard anything that indicated the wife of megachurch evangelist pastor Joel Osteen assaulted a flight attendant before the start of a 2005 flight.
Continental Airlines flight attendant Sharon Brown said in her lawsuit that Victoria Osteen yelled at her, threw her against a bathroom door and elbowed her while attempting to rush into the cockpit after a spill on the armrest of her first-class seat wasn't quickly cleaned up. Brown claims she suffered physical and psychological injuries.
However, three first-class passengers on the plane testified Wednesday that they never saw or heard anything to indicate that Victoria Osteen assaulted Brown before the start of the flight from Houston to Vail, Colo.
"There wasn't anything that occurred that she could be suing over," said Laura Knoppe, who was sitting in the first row of first-class seats, closest to where Brown said the attack took place.
Knoppe, who was called by Victoria Osteen's attorney, Rusty Hardin, said she never heard Osteen yelling or screaming.
Another passenger, Barbara Shedden, who had been called by Brown's attorney, described the interaction between Brown and Victoria Osteen as "just a power of the wills. It was very authoritative on both parts."
Shedden said Victoria Osteen was out of line by standing in the aisle while she waited for the spill to be cleaned up, but testified she doubted an attack took place.
A third passenger, James Steele, said he never heard any yelling or sounds of a physical altercation.
The pilot, William Burnett, testified he saw "nobody fighting the flight attendants."
But Brown's attorney, Reginald McKamie, told jurors that in an August 2007 deposition Burnett claimed he saw Brown and another flight attendant standing shoulder to shoulder outside the cockpit, which made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.
"You had a duty as the captain of this plane to call the police and you didn't do it?" McKamie said in court.
"I didn't see a threat," Burnett said.
Both Victoria Osteen and Joel Osteen, who was on the same flight, testified last week that no attack took place.
Earlier Wednesday, Brown's attorney, Reginald McKamie, rested his case.
Brown is asking for an apology and 10 percent of Victoria Osteen's net worth. Osteen's lawyers would not discuss her finances, so it was unclear how much 10 percent would be.
The Osteens paid a $3,000 fine the Federal Aviation Administration levied against Victoria Osteen for interfering with a crew member but testified they did that to put the incident behind them.
They are co-pastors of Houston's Lakewood Church, which draws about 42,000 people each week. His weekly television address is broadcast internationally and his books are sold around the globe.

After a quick google news search, three first-class passengers say nothing happened (one said it was "a battle of wills") and the captain said he didn't see anything and saw no need to call police. Only fellow FAs are backing her up, and even they didn't see the event the way she did.

Perhaps the FA was bat-shiat crazy? Seems she sued a gate agent (over a lost ticket) with a remarkably similar account 10 years ago.

Of course, if she wins, I'll start assaulting every VIP I see and sue them for 10% of their bank accounts...

Just look at the flight attendant!! That tells you everything. Secondly this happened in 2005!!! I'm sorry but with the "quality" of flight attendants we have today I don't think Joel's wife did it. Most flight attendants today deserve a kick to the face with how rude they are, most of them are old, rude and pretty much just GLORIFIED WAITRESSES!
Ok so the b**ch gets "attacked" my the minister's wife, suffers psychological damages after that, and can begins to have nightmares b/c she got yelled at and got her tit popped. Then she loses her faith in God, which in return the good Lord punishes her with a Boil in the a$$**le which in makes her even crazier. So now she goes to a "shrink" and obviously once again it is proven that Psychologists pretty much tell you what you already know and after $200/hr you come out more crazy and retarded than before. And then 3 years later she decides to sue Joel's wife and try to get money so she can retire and leave this God forsaken industry????? WOW! I'm gonna go to Joel Austin's church and I'm gonna have him kick me in the nuts. Then I'm gonna curse God for his human mistake, lose my faith, go a little crazier and come back a quarter of a decade later and sue him for all he's worth!

Why did you need to search google again?
That's okay when I posted the article I missed that Osteen's attorney is Rusty Hardin (famous for pissing off Anna Nicole when he was repping her 90 year old hubby's estate). "Damn you RUSTY!"

Jury set to get case in suit against Osteen's wife
Thursday August 14, 8:08 am ET
By Juan A. Lozano, Associated Press Writer Jury to get case Thursday in suit accusing Joel Osteen's wife of attacking flight attendant

HOUSTON (AP) -- Continental Airlines flight attendant Sharon Brown says she was assaulted by the wife of megachurch pastor Joel Osteen in an attack so traumatic that it left her unable to work for five days and damaged her religious beliefs.
But Victoria Osteen's attorney has repeatedly tried to show during a nearly weeklong civil trial that his client never hit or pushed Brown and that the alleged assault was just a figment of the flight attendant's imagination.
Closing arguments in the civil trial that resulted from Brown's lawsuit against Victoria Osteen were expected on Thursday after both sides rested a day earlier.
Brown told jurors the co-pastor of Houston's famed Lakewood Church became verbally and physically abusive before the start of a 2005 flight from Houston to Vail, Colo.
The flight attendant claims she suffered physical and psychological injuries after Victoria Osteen got angry that a spill on the armrest of her first-class seat was not quickly cleaned up.
Another flight attendant on the flight, Maria Johnson, supported Brown's claims, testifying Victoria Osteen got so upset, she threw Brown against a bathroom door and elbowed her in the left breast while attempting to rush into the cockpit.
Both flight attendants testified they had to block the cockpit door to prevent Victoria Osteen from getting inside.
Brown wants an apology and punitive damages amounting to 10 percent of Victoria Osteen's net worth as part of her lawsuit. Victoria Osteen's attorney, Rusty Hardin, has declined to discuss her finances, so it was unclear how much 10 percent would be.
Both Victoria Osteen and Joel Osteen, who was on the same flight, testified last week that no attack took place.
Victoria Osteen told jurors she went up to Brown after no one helped her clean up the spill. She said it was Brown who became angry during their discussion. Victoria Osteen denied ever touching Brown or trying to get into the cockpit.
Three passengers in first-class and a pilot aboard testified Wednesday they never saw or heard anything that indicated Victoria Osteen assaulted Brown.
Hardin, during sometimes relentless and aggressive cross-examination of Brown, tried to cast doubt that the flight attendant suffered any physical or mental injuries. Brown admitted that doctors found no physical injuries on her and she delayed getting psychiatric treatment.
Claudia Hall, a former Continental flight attendant, testified by video deposition that she was falsely accused by Brown of hitting and pushing her into the bathroom wall of a plane in November 1995.
The Osteens are co-pastors of Houston's Lakewood Church, which draws about 42,000 people each week for services. Joel Osteen's weekly television address is broadcast in the U.S. and internationally and his books are sold around the globe. The Osteens paid a $3,000 fine the Federal Aviation Administration levied against Victoria Osteen for interfering with a crew member but testified they did that to put the incident behind them.
