Oh you guys are so clever. Just one day out of the week to think of others beside yourself and all of a sudden you're a white trash redneck.

I go to church with some pretty esteemed members of the community who make a hell of a lot more money than any airline pilot and I beg to differ that there's anything wrong with what they or I do.

I don't think you got my joke. It wasn't directed to church folk. Hell, I've got respect for people like Joel. At least he's trying to make a difference and help people unlike a bunch of dou****bags here who only complain and moan about their "sad" airline lives. Keep doing what your doing, and keep doing your best to better your self. We all need to change and better our selves in many areas.

Not bashing real religion here...but just wondering, did you learn misogyny at one of those fake "megachurches"...didn't know Joel Osteen was teaching that breed of hate these days. What else did they teach you?

I never said that any of us church goers weren't VERY conservative. In fact, most of us still value a woman at home taking care of the kids and the house. I pity the fool who marries a "career woman". But those are just my opinions which I'm entitled to, just like the guy who thinks I'm a redneck.

And who's your teacher Mr. Perfect? and don't tell me Jesus. The amazing thing is that people will always talk trash about ministers "good or bad" ones. Hell they Criticized, laughed, spat and crucified Jesus who was perfect.

I owe you a beer! or Lemonade.

Funny...

I watched Osteen once. Mentioned Jesus once in an hour. The rest was a bunch of feel good prosperity ministry phony stuff. Not ministry, more like pop psychology.

Jesus wouldn't have flown first class and he sure as heck wouldn't have had a B747SP.

WHY? She might meet a real man at work who isn't living in the colonial days? Yikes, what freaks.
You helped pay for Ernest Angley's 74 didn't you????

BINGO!
He also wouldn't be spewing hate all over message boards like these two, and whatever fire & brimstone those like them attempt to alter the bible to suit whatever nutjob agenda they are trying to promote.

You know, I passed one of those "mega-churches" once on the freeway and thought to myself, I could park a 767 in that thing easily. Maybe I just worship the aviation gods too much...

No, but I'd be happy to fly it for the right price$

And no, not just for a guaranteed spot in Heaven.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was one already in there. saw a billboard "advertising" one of these faux churches, with a row of portraits of their "leaders" across the top all in CEO gear. "Reverend" my you-know-what. I can't believe that so many people fall for that crap...and worse that they are allowed to create a "non profit" by pretending they are a church!
