hey guys, what airlines are still operating turboprops? i know american eagle has a lot of Saabs, and USAir's little brother flies Dorniers, and Horizon's got the Dash's, but are there any more? i'm mainly looking to find ATR's and Dash's. I thought they were more popular, but with the surge of RJ's, i find it difficult to locate them at the airport. any help?

Doesn't TransStates still operate the 3 or 4 ATR's they had a couple of years ago? Don't remember if they're parked like PSA's Dorniers.

Other TP operators that haven't been mentioned, off the top o' my head:

1900's are operated by CommutAir, Colgan, Skyway (??), Mesa (AirMidwest) and GIA

Metros are operated by Big Sky

Jetstream 41's are operated by TransStates (I think the 31/32 are still operated by Boston-Maine and CorpEx)

Brasilias are operated by GIA, Great Lakes and Skywest

340's are operated by Shuttle America (for now)

328's are operated by Skyway, though they may only fly the 328JET now that I think about it...

Dash 8's are operated by Mesa

That's all I can think of to add to the previously listed carriers.

Be-1900D's and EMB-120's are also operated by Great Lakes, primarily out of DEN for Frontier and United under codeshare agreements.

And to answer I.P. Freley's response - yes, Skyways does operate the mighty 1900D.
