Its obviously an assault-flashlight that has no legitimate purpose in the hands of general public (joe-pilot).

Its obviously an assault-flashlight

It sounds rather intimidating! I'm gonna getcha with my assult flashlight! oooohhhhh

I know this arguement has been made a billion times, but I have, within arms reach, IN the cockpit, AT work, a crash axe which is one of the scariest, angriest, mideval looking things I have ever seen.

Seriously, you could go to a knife store or gun show, and watch some Lord of The Rings / Highlander nerd walk out with the nastiest looking sword or knife, or axe, or mace or whatever he could find, and if I bring my airplane's crash axe, he will be totally jealous.

To all you TSA morons out there. If I EVER feel the need to spend $100 on a flashlight, (which is probably not going to happen) I PROMISE not to hit anyone with it. If I'm going to hit someone at work, I will use some of the airplanes required equipment.

some people call it a kaiser blade, but I call it a sling blade mmmmeeeehhhhhmmmmm
