You might try the Belongo Bay Resort in St.Thomas. It is a way from the tourist crowd. Reasonably priced and the swimming and snokeling is good. Many activities if you want to participate.

Ha! I guess the upscale feel of the place tends to downplay the drunkenness.

The other good thing is that the exchange rate is better than most places right now...NZ dollars.

And, English is the language - at least, the New Zealand version.
