How likely will it be for a new-hire to hold FLL? Im assuming SJU will be the least desired place for most people.

I think once they put the local SJU guys thruogh class, it will be pretty likely to hold FLL after initial. If I am not mistaken, they were talking about a March 1st class for them. If they have started a SJU local class on the 1st, I would expect them hitting the line around May. So my SpEcUlAtIoN is that classes after mid March will probably go to FLL unless they would decide to grow SJU.

At best the above is an educated guess, so take it as such.

And what kind of trip lengths do you guys do right now? any day trips there?

There are day trips out of FLL. I only had a chance to look at March so far and it seemed there was a fairly even mix of 1 through 4 day trips. Perhaps others are more qualified to answer this.

SJU supposed to be mostly day trips. I don't know about the rest of the bases.

Do you have to have the FE written done before interviewing at Spirit?

I don't see why Spirit would ever need the FE written. I don't have one so I would say: No. IMHO the only reason they are interested to know is to learn more about your future or former plans. I.e. do you want to work for UPS/FEDEX down the road?
