Rumor has that Delta is starting service into TTN with turbo-props from BOS
Can anybody confirm? Would it be ASA or Freedom?
Thanks

If they flew from TTN to BED, it would be like old times at Shuttle America.

Sure do miss the ole days that was a great route and now with the BIg dig in trouble that would be a gold mine!!

Just make sure you put the water bottles in the ice cooler outside of ops... Those near-freezing bottles of H20 were a godsend in the summer of '02. :)

BOS/JFK to TTN is nothing new. Ransome Airlines did it in the Nomads/mohawks (I think) and the Dash 7. The old double wide trailer terminal at TTN is now the community college flight school just north of Ronson Aviation. The double wide was also Ransomes original HQ.

Suburban (pre runner to the ALlegheny that mergerd w/ PDT) used to fly otters and shorts from TTN also. Southern Jersey Airways also flew otters from TTN to the Jersey Shore points.

Don't forget Eastwind with the 737-200's TTN to BOS, PVD, GSO, RIC and I think one or two others.

I could see delta getting into that market. They are starting Wilmington DE and ATL and Marathon Key to ATL with CRJs. I don't see why they won't expand service in the northeast to compete with US Air on the overseas routes.
