I used to have a link on my laptop before it crashed and it had a link for a guy that sold wheels for a travelpro. Anybody have the link. Thanks

Let's cut to the chase...

You're looking for the wheels that light up when you roll them, aren't you?

i've seen those. if they help fine. :)

honestly though they were a nice find. Had them on my old travelpro and am trying to put them on mine.

no these were developed by a pilot he had his own website.

Travelpro wheels suck! Just go find yourself some rollerblade wheels with bearings, stop at Ace Hardware on your way home and pick up a couple bolts that give you a nice fit through the bearings (use the ones that only have threading at the end and is smooth in the middle) and there you go.... Nice smooth rolling wheels! You may have to drill your old wheels out depending on your model. You may need a Dremmel to cut the excess end of the threaded part of the bolt if it sticks out too far, and possibly drill out the hole in the plastic housing where the axle goes through in order to fit the bolt you bought. I did this not too long ago after paying $50 to have Travelpro replace my wheels. The fix took only about half an hour and isn't hard at all. Make sure the rollerblade wheels you buy have a small enough diameter to fit in the wheel housing. If they are too big, they will rub the housing and won't roll. I picked up a few wheels with the bearings included at MC Sports for $1 each in the discount bin. Cheap fix, and they are the best rolling wheels i've ever seen.

There are flashing wheels and then there are flashing wheels!

I saw a flight attendant who had some blue ones that flashed like strobes- I couldn't catch her to find out where she got them. But they were primo.

The downside of a Briggs and Riley bag is that their wheels are larger than the standard inline skate wheel.

Anybody who finds those great flashing wheels, let us know.

Yeah +1 on buying your own rollerblade wheels.

I did that and it was amazing. I think what really slows the suitcase down is when the wheels start wearing flatter. Where more of the wheel is on the ground then when the wheel was new.

And off course the cheapo bearings that come with it going bad does not help

thanks mdanno thats the one.
