If you're talking about me Narco, I don't despise UPS one bit. I like it here and they treat me pretty well.

It certainly doesn't help your (ASTAR pilots) chances.
My cousin's husband is a supervisor for UPS Ground. He said he's received "about a hundred" applications from pilots and pilot-wannabe's over the last couple years. I asked him if it helped get them jobs in flt ops, and he said, "It depends on which way their careers are headed. If they're college students or time-builders on their way 'up' and who work out well for us, it can definitely be an 'in' But if they're guys who just want to back-door our hiring process, it probably won't help them much. They would be better off to wait until the hiring window opens and to submit an online application, along with several letters of recommendation if possible"

All other hiring minimums still apply.
