I remember a scam 10 years ago in the corporate sector where there was a phony GV job posted and everything seemed legit. They asked for scanned copies of resume, licenses and SS# to prove ability to work in US.
Well after a few guys were taken the scam was revealed. they set up fake ID's using all given info and raided their bank accounts as well as made up new credit cards.
Be careful when divulging your personal info.
