Just go the memo about TSA not getting the CAL flying. This was the interesting part:

In addition, all of us need to continue our efforts to ensure that we produce the highest quality airline at the lowest possible cost. Without these two essential key elements, we will be unable to be successful in competing for future growth opportunities. Thank you as always for the great job you do every day. Keep it up, and we will find ways to succeed together in the future.

I doubt that managment even wanted it, this is what they wanted to put out during our current contract negotiations.

How many cheap shots did they take at the Union?

F T-States mismanagement. They don't really want to grow Trans States. If they thought they could staff scabjets fast enough to get the bid they'd have done that, but they don't really want to grow the original- especially not in negotiations. Trans States isn't gonna be doing any growing when threats of transfering airplanes to scabjets will be so essential for contract "negotiations".

read the memo also, its funny, actually sad, that Big L and the managment team are going to use this as thier way out of our pilot group getting a better contract. according to the assistant chief the new contract negotiations are going smoothly and no one has left the room with a black eye yet. His words I tell'ya. oh and since tsalounge is down no new hire classes till November according to eddie P but I am sure they will have to do something to plug the holes, because people will start jumping ship very soon. They said today that we average an attrition of around 30-40 people a month, that is more than a quater of our pilot group in a year so unless our lines are built to 100 hours they will have to hire more. Even though the displacements off of the J41 are taking up the slack it wont be for long.
