Trans States Expanding In STL

A memo just put out by the COO stated that Trans States will add 5 new RJ's with options for 10 additional airplanes to operate under American Connection as well as add the following cities starting Nov. 1 :

ATL,AUS,COS,DCA,CMH,DEN,EWR,IAD,MSP,ORF,PHL, BDL,MSY,PIT,RDU and RIC.

This is huge news for those at Trans States. Good Luck to all.

I'm sure we'll all be hearing from CHQ management that CHQ lost the AMR flying to TSA because of our vote to strike.

Acuallly, BB was in STL today and stated that some of the cities on the TSA memo will be done by TSA and CHQ. He specifically mentioned DEN and BOS. Don't forget, CHQ cannot add any AC to the AA side until TSA gets their 14 jets.

It will most likely be downsizing or staying even in STL for TSA since the turboprops will have a lot less to do.

It will all probably come out pretty even. Less flights but longer flights.

Holy Crap!! STL to BOS in an RJ??? I did BOS to IND a few months ago and it took 3:10 (with a 150 kt. headwind). We hardly had any gas left. That same flight to STL would have been almost 4 hours. I like the RJ, but that is just a little too much

Good point pusher. Can you imagine getting out of BOS, in the winter, with a 100kt headwind, and then hold for STL...in an rj? How long do you think passengers will put up with that?

Who is going to be holding in STL after Nov.???? You might even get direct to the airport from VHP.

Not saying BOS is on it but the "list" is not the complete list of new RJ cities out of STL.

THey'll also be expanding in ORD and Dulles when they add their RJs for their UAL feed.
