Do your EMB-145's have thrust Reversers? If not, Do you really have to mash on the brakes to stop it?

Thanks

Some have reversers and some don't. It's not that big a deal if you don't have them, one less thing that can break.

Some do have thrust reversers and some don't. You do not need to mash the brakes on landing (w/o reversers) to stop it, moreover most of the airports we fly into have long runways.

I work for a different 145 operator, but I made an observation the other day. We were flying into Boston in one of the few planes my company has that does not have reversers (the "47-49 seat" EP). Landing on 22L to hold short of 27, standard stuff. Perfectly okay in the EP without reversers equipped. But get us in the LR with reversers, and one of the reversers is inop, can't do the hold short. Stupid.

Higher landing weight and thrust reversers are not using in calculating max landing weight. I think off the top of my head. But I guess you have to be above 41,226 lbs on landing for that to make a difference.
