I had a DUI over ten years ago, and have no problems entering Canada or CanPass authorization.

You do not have the canpass that FO has. because with a DUI you can not get it even when it has been 26 years ago

He is right. It is a special deal that lets you by pass customs and fly into certain airports (the list isn't very long) without the benefit of a customs visit. Doesn't make sense for most operators and the pax have to have the same clearence...
