From a person who lost two good friends and colleagues on the DHL 757, and who logged more than 3000 hrs on that specific airplane...you guys are really jumping to conclusions...lets not speculate and cause more pain where no more is needed please lets allow the feds to do their respective jobs, and let the chips fall where they may...

Oh no. Another speculation cop. The investigators of the accident are the ones who are not supposed to speculate. They gather facts and draw conculsions and hopefully prevent future occurances. For us to speculate on the accident is a freedom we enjoy in this part of the world. But wait a minute, nobody here was even speculating on the unfortunate accident. Sir Vlad merely made a very reasonable deduction based on a published article that certainly indicates the authorities believe the two occurances are linked. That you lost friends or graced the seat of that plane with your a$$, while unfortunate, means nothing to this thread. It's quite newsworthy and appropriate for a site like this. Boy do I need some sleep. Maybe someone else around here does as well.

yea, but the ATCer's kids had nothing to do with this, it's their dad that told the russians to descend...

Not a "speculation cop" at all Hugh Organ...speculate, debate, and all the rest of the "ates" you like..freedom of speech is what we're all about..didnt mean to come across that way..hopefully none of you live this horror the way I did...my wife got pulled out our bed at 0400 to go tell the Capt's wife..her best friend...(Christmas at our house..New Years at theirs) what happened..along with the Angel of mercy woman who was our chief pilot's wife..God bless them both....I cant even imagine how they did it pray it never happens to any of you....so please I beg....lets let the investigation run it's course......as judge Roy Bean used to say..."let's give 'em a fair trial...then hang 'em" but seriously folks,,there but for the grace of God..go you and I.....and just pray you don't get the knock at your door as I did, and it will forever haunt me...from my friend (our Chief pilot) yes we were all friends...because he is still a colleague, and co-worker..and we still re-live the horror every year...

Someone with 14,000 hours oughta know better than to preach to others in the same hazardous profession about how it feels when you lose a friend in an accident. Sheesh. Nobody is on trial here. It's a freaking article about a murder. The murder happens to be potentially linked to an air disaster. You are reaching and I believe way overreacting to some innocent postings....hmmmm....oversensitive to the subject...just wants it to go away.....by the way, can anyone confirm your whereabouts on Tuesday??? You wouldn't happen to be between the ages of 50-55 with a limited German-speaking ability???
