Does anyone know of any "harder than normal" approaches? (excluding NDB) The new job gives me waaaaay too much free time and Im gonna get on flight sim and see what I can do.

Thanks

If the database has Quito, Ecudor that one can be fun. In the DC-8 it was fun in a seat cushion absorbing kinda way and even the DC-10 could get your hair up. But leaving there with 135k of flowers that were weighed and then watered always made for sucking up the remaining foam left behind from the arrival. At any rate have fun...........

LDA 2 into Juneau, Alaska was always a good time.

Dutch Harbor was fun too, but I can't remember what kind of approach it was...

Visual to 9L into Nice, France. From the left seat you get distracted from all the topless chicks along the cote d'azur. After the "bank angle" and "sink rate" calls, it's extremely difficult to get stabilized by 500AGL.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Try it with th elower than standard plates if you can.

Any Mexican Airport with a VOR to an ILS appr. It cracks me up every time I listen a N-registered aircraft stuttering when they get such clearance.

The visual is the hardest, everything else the auto pilot seems to handle just fine.

Guatemala City, Middle of the night with the ever present fog hanging around.
