I think it had something to do with airplane retirements/realignments, but don't take that as gospel.

The ones recently hired at US shouldn't count. Dozens of pilots warned them not to go there.

Stupid doesn't count.

Then by your rikockulous standard we can't count the pilots being furloughed from AA, UA, F9, ME, SX, AQ, et al, because all have been struggling financially for some time, including during a recent hiring/recall phase. Go throw sand in somebody else's playground.

<-- Stupid Pilot and Imminent Furloughee.

I'm thinking when the dust settles, we're looking at 10 thousand or so on the street. No one seems to have mentioned a liquidation, and I think that is inevitable.

Heck, there are 13 THOUSAND numbers alone just between UAL and USAir (AWA).

These little dribbles we're seeing now is nothing. I don't mean to rain on the parade, but in my opinion, I'm being realistic.

That's not nice Flylow. I remember being pretty desperate when you and I hit the street post 9/11. I seem to remember taking several trips to Syracuse for a little pipe dream a certain Citation Captain turned me on to.

Kit will say it's all the more reason to fork over $180 for the privilege of attending a job fair so he can finance a new Porsche.

All due respect, we were looking for a place to hide out for a few years (at the time). These guys were looking to make a career at the "New US".

A carrier with severe revenue/cost/labor issues not resolved since we were furloughed... 6 years prior.

Pilots just ignore the past too much. It's like a re-run.. over and over with a worse ending each time.

Dude, are you still licking the sweat off some rich dudes balls over there at NetJerks? Didn't anybody ever tell you corporate is a time builder for the majors? Since the majors are disapearing why step backwards when you can jump ahead and out of aviation. Or maybe you can't. Well sorry I can't wait for a pathetic reply, I'll probably glance at the board again in a couple months. If some guy sticks his head in the cockpit and says, "where's my coffee bitch!" that's me:pimp: Adios loser.

CAL is wanting to furlough 250-300. We'll see what it ends up being once the total number of COAL's and early outs are counted.

Hey Junior,
A) NJ is not corporate. B) Today's NetJets is hardly a stepping stone to the airlines and going from a major to NJ is most certainly not going backwards. Tell that to all of the major furloughees trying to beat down the door....some of whom are idiots like you that were slamming them.

What's your problem? Did you get turned down at NetJets? If not, don't apply because they would weed you out because of your attitude and misplaced arrogance.

If you ever become an owner and say that to a NJ crew with any seriousness, chances are that you wouldn't make it to your destination and management would side with the crew. They have kicked jerk owners out of the program before.....you wouldn't be the first.

Grow up.

With market research like that, all I can say to you is "good luck" in your new career outside of aviation. Your gonna need it. Minimum net worth to participate in NetJets is 25 million.

The world is round too buddy.

P.S. Our Owners don't speak to us like airline passengers. They are happy.
