Call me crazy....

You couldn't pay me that kind of money to sit at a computer all day in a cubicle. I know the lifestyle, my mother has done it for almost 20 years. If we are talking millions $$ to sit in a cubicle, then I might reconsider. But when does that happen?

My father is a dentist. If I wanted to become a dentist, right out of dental school (an additional 4 years after undergrad) I would bypass all the residency and clinical work and join him at his practice. Probably would be making six figures within a year or two out of school. Why did I decide on becoming a pilot? Maybe the mere fact that starring down people's mouths the rest of my life frightens and disgusts me. Maybe being one of the most feared people in the patient's eyes. It's not for me and I knew that early on.

I talk to too many people that are miserable in their office jobs and wish they could have followed their dreams long ago. It's too late for them, they are sucked in...

Like I prefaced this post, I could be crazy but there are different strokes for different folks....
