We live in a different world and feelings might get hurt, but if all of the "peaceful" muslims are inconvenienced a bit, maybe they will put pressure on or educate their violent brothers who make them all look bad.

I'm not suggesting we round 'em all up and stick them in camps, but we DO need to profile until it is PR OVEN that we are not looking for 18-40 year old muslim men!!

At least question them. We don't need to interrogate them, just ask them about their day or travel plans for the day. If you are about to kill yourself, you would probably sweat or at least act strangely. But we don't do this because someones panties might get in a wad!!

Unemployment is up, the economy is again receding, our children's test scores are WAY behind the rest of the world, the next generation is saddled with debt, the global environment is crumbling, the middle class are barely scraping by living paycheck to paycheck, inflation is rising, the list goes on.

Yet all the Bush administration can do is wave the flag, make threats, carry on crusades in the Middle East, and give tax cuts to the rich.

The American people are being duped. It's not about the man who runs the 7-11 down the street or the girl in Kabul with a Burka. It's about you and me.

The ememy is within. We need to look inward and control our own destiny, not hate those who we are being told control it.

I don't need Fox (which I don't like) to tell me that the Arab world pretty much hates us... And has for decades. I believe this stems from our support for Israel and the classic north-versus-south/ haves-and-have-nots conflict. Then of course there is the Islamic theocracies' stated goal of bringing that religion to the world by any means necessary. Imagine Franklin Graham and his boys, except with suicide bombers and a death wish. Ahmadinejad (the president of Iran... did I spell that right?) himself has stated he believes he is the last leader of Iran before the return of the Mahdi. Yup... Sure, it was white guys that bombed the Fed building in OKC, and some abortion clinics a few years ago. But I think that you will find that the VAST MAJORITY of terrorist acts commited in the world are commited by muslim males. I don't plan to look up the numbers, but I would bet that the number is over 95%. That is not being racist, or a bigot. One of my best friends is Pakistani and a muslim. And even he thinks that we should be spending more time looking at the groups that are posing the current problem.

And I am pretty involved in security circles, and it is NOT well known in the ones that I am involved in that AQ is actively recruiting 88 year old grandmothers to carry out their plans.
