Charter Dog, we are in total agreement. In the early 90's I flew helos in the Caribbean for a year. This gig involved flying celebs of course. All of the celebs that I flew were without exception very pleasant to be around and some a lot of fun. They were also in most cases "on vacation," with the exception of one who was filming on location (I was flying the aerial shots) and another had about 100# of scripts with him to read on his yacht.

I concluded that once they are away from the fans, paparazzi, and autograph seekers they revert back to being "normal people" as they once were, or close to it.

The nicest and most down to earth celebs that I flew were Harry Hamlin and his beautiful actress-wife Lisa Rinna. I still have a photo of her with her arm around me standing next to her husband.

Others who were notably nice were Robert DeNiro, Johnny Depp, Kate Moss, Harry Connick Jr. and his lovely bride Jill Goodacre. There were many others but these celebs stand out.
