Thank You!

What a class act. On friday night (6/19) The gate agent tried to give him the jumpseat and he pointed out that I had a 2 year earlier hire date (at OO). Talked to him for about 15 minutes prior. Great guy.

If you see this, thanks again. Hope you made it home that night. You represent Republic and all pilots very well.

He might represent Republic Pilots well, but how is that representing all pilots?

I am sure some Midwest Express Pilots would beg to differ.

Jeeez, what a weak thread to begin with!

cool

very cool, but I always thought jumpseat was first come first serve.? Unless Two guys jumpseating on there own company, than it is seniority. That is what I thought anyway> I could be wrong

Jumpseat has nothing to do with seniority/DOH.

Are you one of those morons that thinks it does?

My point was to acknowledge the guy who did a stand up thing. Maybe he didn't have to. Whatever.

Just saying thanks to the guy.

When we used to fly through SLC, senior SKW guys were bumping junior SKW guys off of ASA jumpseats, because that's the way SKW runs their own jumpseats.

SKW is the only airline that I know of that does this (maybe I am wrong), and thus it doesn't apply to offline jumpseats.

Sure hope that Republic guy didn't get talked out of a jumpseat.
