Instead of all this bs between the two of you we should post year over year w2's and that should pretty much end the smartass questioning everyone and anyone that does not tout the company line ( even though he pretends to be a big union supporter and knows all our shortfalls )

Afterall I have received a " RAISE " the last three years and made less EVERY YEAR. I am sure nearly every pilot that has been here over 5 years has experienced the same.

Im not even talking about the $15k out of pocket this year for health care and the last $800 bill i got for a simple trip to the dermatologist..

Company coined the phrase " power users " will see a slight increase the other 70% will save money.. Thats the facts you should be trying to disprove not your brothers

This year will be no different..

Smarta$$ if you are so pro pilot why do you question anyones post on here that is not pro company? I just dont get it..

And yes we have flown before

Frankly, I have said several times that I am not happy with many things JB. When I read your post above, it seems you only hear what you want to hear out of my posts and don't take in the entire message. Basically, if in don't agree with 100%, but only 90%, you attach to me motives and sentiments that I do NOT harbor.

Green price is X.

Blue is X plus $80 per month (family rate).

Major difference is RX is subject to the deductible and HSA vs HRA.

After the max $1760 is deposited into the HSA , which is your money from inflated premiums the HSA can only hold about $5,600.

Paying $80 a month is a very expensive tax deferred account. You would do much better funding a variable annuity and take the green plan.

Boy-oh-boy, it seems you give guidance on just about everything I see.
I'm pretty comfortable with the choices I've made in life to this point so thanks but thanks anyway.

Go to Chase. If they charge $960 a year for a tax preferred account with a max of less than $6000 run away becuase b of A offers the same for free.

But it make sense to go with Chase because they have blue shirts too.

Brillant!

I'm good with his decision too.

It is a waste of money but I cool with that.

Jetblue HSA is extremely over priced compared to what is available on the non blue shirted open market. For some reason the Blue Shirt is very powerful.

It it sort of entertaining.

This pretty much sums up the typical (majority at last count) JB pilot in two sentences. You can hit them in the face with facts til you are BLUE in the face, but there is no reasoning with them.

The difference is you're not me and don't know all the details of my situation but go right ahead and make a snap judgment about me; this is an opinion board after all.
