So calling the general public "ignorant" is "well said"? I disagree. I think this was a missed opportunity. I'm probably in the minority here. Wouldn't be the first time.

Nope. I agree with you 100%. I'm surprised that Capt. LeRoy used his name, or more specifically his COMPANY'S name, in that letter. Don't most companies have rules against talking to the press? And yes, I know, this wasn't an interview... But here you go, a letter signed by a Captain referencing his employer, calling passengers "ignorant".

Whether they ARE or not is not the point. :)
