XJT LOA 8 (our 2 year contract extension) has just been ratified, raising the bar 5.75% for your negotiations starting next year. 2009 rates top out north of $102/hr, with 5 yr CA $73 and change and max FO $46 and change. Not stellar, but a step in the right direction. Good luck and may past sins be atoned for! :)

What the H_LL are you talking about?

XJT just ratified a contract extension. It included 5-6 percent pay/cost of living increases, per diem increases up to 1.80 i believe, and some contract improvements. This extends our contract to 2010. It also set up the pay and work rules for our contract flying.

Futher showing that we are indeed the best regional airline out there (even though we're certainly not just a regional). 100% operational performance over the holidays...while another airline out there has problems getting a proving flight off the ground!...

For Christ's sake, how many of my coworkers can come on here and act like arrogant asses! It's still an RJ guys don't forget that. For the rest of the folks out there please don't think that our guys all act like jackasses.

Who was it that said (paraphrasing) "being the best regional out there was like winning the special olympics - you may be #1, but you're still retarded!"

wow, what a deal $22 dollars an hour for a mainline aircraft, you guys really made the big time on this one, ps u are a joke, when will u get that it will take u soon to upgrade to nothing, because u are taking away the plane u would upgrade to should be at mainline, where do we go from here, no where because u want to fly it here, idiot

Tool.

"North of 102/hr" Imagine that!!

This morning when I awoke from my slumber:
I took a shower, dried off, and then proceeded to frost and gel my hair so it was extra spikey.
I then packed my bag, with my IPOD of course and then intentionally forgot my hat, so as to not mess my immaculate hair up.
I then called a couple of my so called friends up, to tell them how cool my "mainline" airplane is.
I then texted a few more friends, being careful to use the "u" instead of typing "you." I made sure to tell them that their small regional airplane wasn't nearly as cool as mine.
I then checked my hair, and made sure to think about how me, as a pilot had anything to to with that "mainline" airplane being on the property.

I thought I was the only one who felt this way, dont get me wrong I think we have a good thing also but nobody outside of Expressjet cares. I'm starting to see what Mcpickle means when he gets on some of our guys....

Your right, this was very poor taste in the way it was presented. Shameful.

I do beg the differ, that other regionals should very much care. Especially those with contract negotiations approaching in the next 2-3 years. I believe Mesa and CHQ maybe negotiating in this time frame.

When reading this, make sure U replace 'Frosted and gel my hair', with parted down the middle, chiorboy style. And replace Ipod with walkman and Bible..... and Replace 'called a couple of friends' with emailed my Myspace people I've never met...

Did you get your 145 SIC type rating gold plated by Sporty's? They are offering a special this month. But only if you have it listed on your Flightinfo profile.

You guys in the regionals will never learn. 102 at what year,(20). nice. It should be 102 at year 5. But good luck and congrats LOL....

Your right to the extent that the NC of other airlines might care because that gives them some numbers to work with, but the average line pilot could care less about one of our guys walking around saying "his is bigger" no more than you or I caring about someone else telling us about how his company is better than ours. However I never see any of our guys talk about DCA when they talk about how Xjet sh1t dont stank..

This thread reminds me of Eddie Murphy doing the "you dropped your iiiiiiicccceeeeeeeeee creeeeeaaaaaaaam" skit. I think the information could have been diseminated in a much better way.

The Skywest/Mesa/ and CHQ folks do need to know what is possible and what gains we've made. But throwing it in their face doesn't work. A better way would have been a FYI post about our new contract extention and the gains we have now locked in and secured for 4 more years. I'd think this would be good info especially to the Skywest guys who can think for themselves. Not the Anti-ALPA Kool_Aide drinkers who aren't type rated to use their brains.
