The end of the furloughed list at DAL is in sight. Troy Kane (aka, TK) will be getting his letter. There will be the 1300+ pilots that once ID'd themselves as "TK + xxx". Congrats TK ...

Dear Delta Pilot,

Last week, I had the pleasure of sharing with you our intent to begin accepting pilot applications immediately and to begin interviewing pilot candidates early next year. That was exciting news, and was a clear indication that we were getting close to offering recall to all of our furloughed pilots. Today I am pleased to announce that our Furlough Outreach Coordinator has sent letters offering recall via UPS next-day air to our furloughed pilots in seniority order – including the final letter sent to TK (Mod Input/name removed), the junior pilot on the Delta seniority list. This is a significant event for all of us, especially for TK and the other Delta pilots who have waited for more than five years for the opportunity to return to the Delta line. Please take the time to congratulate them in the training center and in the lounges over the course of the next few months.

Congrats TK, I hope you are heading back. Now if we can just keep the over 60 crowd from sending you back to the street, things will be looking up.

Last I heard TK is at Netjets. Curious if he would take recall.

Looks like he took a type-ride in the C500 last year, so prly a good bet he's driving a citation somewhere.

So he's prly on 2 year pay there and he'd be what, going on 6 year pay at DAL. Excluding the "what-if" factors, guess you'd have to crunch the compenstation numbers to see what makes more sense.

TK posts on this board, so I'm sure he'll be able to tell you. His screenname is tbkane I think.

Yes I am on the C560 how in the heck did you find that out? What isn't on the FAA site???

I have not received a letter in the mail yet and don't have a decision. NJ is a good company and takes care of you. Delta pays more but take care of me they have not. I am not sure what to do...... Not to mention a public forum is not where I would make a decision.

There would be a bit of wry humor in this particular pilot telling Delta mgmt to go pound sand. :uzi:

Best of luck to you no matter which company you choose.

I am so glad every one will finally have the choice to return! Best of luck to all and happy new year of flying!:)
