Thunderbird Plane loses part during Chicago Air Show today

If they touch they are off the team. At least that's what my friends that have been on the team have told me.

Well, you'll know for sure soon as that's what happened. They held a press conference not too long ago about this.

Their performance for today (Sunday) has been canceled. They grounded the planes 'for safety reasons' after evidence that #4 did in fact make contact with one of the other T-Bird jets.

Here's the link to the story. Thank god the mid-air collision was minor and only resulted in the rail coming off and not a major incident.
