Not arrogant Junior, just a hard working un-employed pilot tired of listening to cry-babies that screwed their brothers and still trying to get more free seats.

Junior? And you say you aren't arrogant? Cry-babies that screwed their brothers and are still trying for more seats? Are you kidding? You must be talking about all the aaholes flying in STL on TWA planes that had to go through such a rigorous testing and employment process to steal our seats. Exactly how did any TWA pilot screw their "brother" at aa? You had what, 2 years in at aa and all of a sudden you are owed a career? And let me understand this, it's because you had to go through such a hard interview process?

Like I said, you truly deserve aa and all the wonderful times you have ahead of you. I pity you. Sad.......

See ya out there tiger.

Not sure I will ever make skipper with AA btw:
We may not have the pleasure of slugging it out.....
Got hired at age 43, after 9/11 things changed at bit, and I lost about 700 numbers to the TWAliban.
Career expectations and all that. Them guys did better.

Sorry if I am in yer way...:D

or maybe its just diarrhea of the mouth.....well I guess its the same thing!!
Same, same.
Glad I got to ya..Keep being misearble....

This thread would be much more lively if we threw a few RenoAir people into the mix....

Easy Junior...Talking about the TWA guys that screwed the Ozark guys when furlough time came around...(Sorry if I have to explain, read some of them above posts)

You had what, 2 years in at aa and all of a sudden you are owed a career?
3 years, but not owed anything...Rather the other way around: The TWA dudes seems to come aaboard with their DOH and their 75 year old airline..Ready to take over, crying if they did not get their seat.

it's because you had to go through such a hard interview process?
Well, I interviewed first in 86, got turned down, re-applied in 98, finally got called in again in 01 and got hired.
Be nice to just sit around and be bought...:D

Here we go again. Do you know how many OZ guys got furloughed out of order? And for how long? Compare that to how many TWA guys are now furloughed? Or even how many TWA Captains? Do you know, or are you just spouting out the apa line (think for yourself for once)? Of the TWA people left at aa, do you know how many are former OZ? Come on genious, put up the numbers.

Three tries huh? So, are you three times the pilot, or 1/3? I gotta hand it to the pilot recruitment people at aa. They do a great job of hiring the same type of pilot. It's a shame they didn't pick up on your arrogance and sense of entitlement right off the bat. Seems like you are a perfect fit.

Yeah, it's been a real pleasure to "sit around and be bought". Kind of like it's been a real pleasure for you to be an aa pilot and have the world owe you because you went through such a tough interview. Shoot, you should be a 777 Captain now, right? If only it wasn't for TWA. Just curious, who would you blame for all your troubles if TWA hadn't come along? Reno? Air Cal? Please enlighten me further with your condecending remarks. I have so much to learn from you Senior.

Man I feel sorry for you.

what goes around surely will come around, just wait...

The TWA pilots got fukced on this one, bottom line. . . I can't believe you are even trying to justify this one.

As I previously mentioned, if you have an 80 Captain as president trying to "save" an airline then you mine as well just commit suicide versus taking it up the ass, he was a "joke" at best.

AA did nothing to benefit the TWA group, in reality they killed an airline and a proud tradition.

No Idea..Furloughed out of seniority is the same thing, whether it is 100 or 1000, don't ya think?
Or is it different now that the TWA guys are the one being furloughed?

Sense of entitlement?
Just becuase I am tired of listening to whining about seniority and furloughs after we all got screwed post 9/11.
Ya sure seem to read alot between the lines and think ya have it all figured out.? Hope I never get to fly with guys like ya. Knows it all and bitter to top it off.

Nobody owe's me sh!t..I was pointing out that after my previous employer went Tango Uniform, I was on the street and had to start over again, sending out resumes, intervies, sim-rides, background checks, then whole pain-in-the-arse procedure, THEN get the probation pay for 15 and all that.
It would sure have been easier to be bought out and get an instant payrise instead.

I you guys thought ya get screwed so bad, then obviously the arbitrators and the courts would set it straight right away.
In the meantime ya won't find much sympathy from the AA pilots. Quite a few of us are also on the streets.

Likewise.

It's all water over the dam now. TWA failed, plain and simple and it's not beyond comprehension that American Airlines will fail. In that case, the only thing the TWA acquisition will have done is make AA fail $3 billion dollars sooner than it might otherwise.

If you're counting on a pension from AA, I wouldn't. And if not in the top 20% of the furlough list, I wouldn't count on coming back at all.

Or how about a couple of Eagle fo’s that get to wait for the poor me twa flow backs (Masa 1900 fo’s that got hired into a bankrupt major and think they made it) to fail out of training and get 709 rides?

You shelf righteous pricks make me sick. O the mighty AssAassoc.
fu@ked you (welcome to AMR, boo firckin pay raise and stock option hoo) well you don’t seen to have any problem doing it to me.

You want to be mad at someone and about how mistreated you are princess? Look in the mirror, remember those slots you sold to the UK? Icon is laughing his ass off in his beach house in richvill as you blame AA for your woes. So save us the poor me crap and go get a job at spirit with the rest of the other miserable basterds.

Keep your precious eagle job. I can see you too are in the perfect place. Good luck with amr, you deserve all the good things coming your way.

It's heartening to know that some people get exactly what they deserve in this life.

Here's the thing....for many people the sun doesn't rise and set on the almighty dollar. Pay raises and stock options? For many, this doesn't mean squat compared to a quality work environment where everyday isn't a battlefield.

In the end, what's done is done. The sad thing is that actions by a corporate entity can cause such a division between the peons. Everyone is so busy looking out for #1....but I suppose that's the world we live in today.
