Nowhere close to that! I have seen maybe 225 in cruise with a tailwind. NOt much use climbing to the flight levels between Indianapolis and Columbus!

350 knots over the top of O' Hare at FL210 in the winter. 225 true with a 125 knot tailwind. I thought the LORAN was F'ed u so I asked ATC- yup 350 in a PA-31-350.
