I heard today that CHQ is getting their old Saabs back along with 10 E-170's for Airways. The SA guys and gals will get intergrated to CHQ at the Saabs transfer over, in senority order.

The transition is slated to start Dec. 15th,

I guess this had something to do with the TA at SA. The bottom guys at CHQ are going to be pissed though cause the SA folks are getting intergrated by thier original SA senority date not by the new CHQ date.

Wex back to the games........

What does that mean? Hey, Pad, are you bringing us factual information or are you wasting our time? What is your source? A lot of people could be impacted by this information. Don't bring us your opinion or wishful thinking - bring FACTS.

FACT: Trans States will start running J41's out of PIT to at least CVG and TRI. If anyone knows more or has some facts, please share.

Why Not?

A Corpex CA was J/S on my flight back to LGA yesterday. He told me that they were getting the old 717's from TWA to fly out of STL now that there's a more open market.

The catch is that they can't afford the engine leases yet so all the planes are still in AZ.

In other news, Corpex announces a possible furlough due to an unforseen increase in costs......

:D :D

Total Flame Bait...

Nobody can integrate the seniority. That must be approved throught the union and membership.

Try again...

This post is a tail strike

The reason why trimming during the landing flare is not recomendet.

The primary cause for tail strikes .

When trimming during the landing flare
the chance of tail strike are greatly increased,
if a go around has to be initiated,

After max power application,
during the go around manuver, exessive nose up pitch trim forces, may cause a tail strike.

This is important if you fly the streched bananas.

This post looks like a tail strike. Full nose up trimm for a greasy landing

125000$ smoth landing (not me)

Long Gonner:

You are correct. The J-Balls are taking quite a few of the routes the Dorniers were on, and in return we are taking quite a few of the ERJ runs when we start doing IOE on the CRJ. We can't get the 25 hours IOE in the CRJ we need quickly by doing CVG-PIT runs or TRI runs.

The only two I know of that we are taking over is PHL-Milwakee (sp) and PHL-Birmingham. Who operates those, I do not know.

Sheesh, at least he coulda said CHQ and SA were going to be folded into Republic... ;)

*sorry for feeding the troll* :p

i cant belive theres 17 posts now at this point.....yall took this and ran with it? man. this was so much flame bait that my breadvan is now on fire <see avatar>.....pad full o sh!t. why you gotta raise all our blood pressures like that eh? its all fun and games till someone blows a heart-valve.

Can't believe you actually used the term "yall".

I do believe everyone realized this was in jest and threw it back as such.

Are we having fun yet? :D

OK here is some new rumor.

Talking to one of the CHQ MEC members, I was told that CHQ and SA talked about merging the two seniority lists.

SA wanted a 5 to 1 merge. 5 CHQ then 1 SA, 5 CHQ etc...

CHQ wanted SA stapled to the bottom. The 5 to 1 was totally rejected because of the large number of very senior pilots at CHQ.

Now my question is how would the SA and CHQ pilots feel about a DOH merge?

I don't see it happening.

If SA were to "merge" what would they bring to the table? Our old Saabs, only a few pilots would care to see that and Mgmt wants nothing to do with the Saabs, that's why they ditched them after 9/11. Then they Fired the junior Saab drivers, you think those guys and gals would be game for losing senority for any reason??

I Highly doubt that the CHQ guys would go for it for a couple reasons:

One: some guys at CHQ are re-hires meaning that they left for say UAL, AMR, NWA, got laid off and are now back at CHQ. Those folks had to start back at the bottom so why should SA be any different.

Two: This would have to go to a vote and I would guess a vote turnout of 742:7 in a NO vote. There just isn't any reason to "give up" your senority to someone from some other airline just to be a nice person.

My guess is that if SA pilots end up at CHQ it'll be through the normal hiring process.

Lazy8s

Actually I've talked to more than 7 CHQ pilots who would vote yes. The idea is to prevent someone from undercutting MESA rates. By merging SA and CHQ the Wexford regional airlines are all on the same page.

Whoever is talking about the TWA 717's is smoking crack. I have spent the last few months ferrying them from MIA to ATL after they were changed over to AirTran's configuration. They are all flying for Airtran, or will be shortly. I think there are 2 more to be deliverd next month.

Oh, and by the way, the seats in the TWA birds suck.

I was Right!!!!

See the first Post!!! I WAS RIGHT!!!

It was about 2 years off on the date but......

Oh yeah and it was more than 10 E-170s...

Pad

Also If you do a search on SA, about 2 years ago it was discussed that all the SAABS come off lease and are returned in 2005/6/7...they are history for Wexford....that is the reason SA even survived for these past few years, as the SA certificate was way cheaper to buy than it was to return the Saabs that were removed from CHQ service for Jets by Wexford...they need a place to use them for awhile and SA was the cheap way out....smart for them, as it turns out good for the SA folks..this is the facts....

I heard today that CHQ had their certificate suspended and operations will cease on 10-10-2005 due to some inconcievable circumstances.

oh and BTW, Mr.Dawg, there is no one living above you, its just a decoy to keep the new freaks out.
