Carl, the southwest pilots and Swapa control the merger- period. Either DOH or a ratio based on earnings, these are thre fairest ways to integrate. You were thrown a lifeline to pull yourself out of the regional quagmire of an airline you were eternally tied to. Good luck!

LOL!, aren't you an Eastie?!?! Please, do tell how the binding arbitration process should work, I need a good laugh!

Thread back on topic. I will work with the list no matter how it turns out or how we get there. The most destructive thing to our careers would be to have this turn into a bitter relationship. I think both sides NCs are more level headed than some of the posters on this board. Hopefully they will come up with something we can all live with.

How many BE-400A's does Tranny fly over there? Looks as if you are a checkairman on the BE-400A how is that going?

I never botherd to update my profile. Just fixed it.

Once the list is final, we have no choice but to accept it. The question is how we implement it . . . I vote we follow the example of the gentlemanly DAL/NWA merger, not the Jerry Springer-style AWA/USAir debacle.

Dude. I am/was willing and have been a gentleman/diplomat bout your situation. BUT YOU ARE A BLIND, NARCISSIST, so here you go and I apologize for the honesty:

You work for a Sh!thole airline (EAST-SIDE only). Maybe you should take your own advice and live with what you got. And yes I am going to live with what I got.

I would rather work for MESA/REPUBLIC then for the USAIReast. AmericaWest saved you from guaranteed extinction.

SO ST. NIC, grab your lifeline and count your blessings!

Agreed, both sides need to try and work together. Arbitration is a last resort, the purpose of this thread is for those who are willing to respect the process and move forward when it's all done. We must not let this become another Airways.

Hopefully you can keep it from becoming another Airways, believe me, it's not fun. But we saw all kinds of this same kind of talk as we began the process. It didn't take but an instant for all that to get flushed down the toilet.
