I think they should just consult with General Lee - he knows how to make money in the airline industry! (TIC alert)shon7 said:What would you say is the most important aspect of Airline Management. If all Senior Airline Managers were to be sent back to school to learn the "right way" what courses would be mandatory--
Employee motivation 101
Finance 101
Operations 101
Employee Benefits
....
Agreed, and I would like ALPA to sit in also!Lear70 said:Ethics and Morality 101
Another good class for management AND ALPA......Palerider957 said:How about a class like "How to abolish your overblown ego, utilize sound business practices, and effectively manage people."
Will probably never happen.

inclusivescope,
Hey, I don't claim to know it all--but I can question it. If I am wrong--please show me and I will listen, but I don't have to agree.
Bye Bye--General Lee
They could do that, but I don't think they would. Here at ASA, we could go on strike and send DAL into BK - much more likely in my opinion. How do you think DAL would handle an ASA strike for 89 days General?General Lee said:Inclusivescope,
There is no doubt that Comair and ASA made money. Congrats. But, as the analyst said---Delta can change that in a heart beat. They could change your routes around to tinbucktoo and you would make no money. They could lower fares on your routes--and you wouldn't break even. They could also start charging you for things you don't pay for---like reservations, airport station usage (at delta stations), and other things that could erode your profits quick. That is the key--and you are starting to realize this now I believe.....
I never said "I got mine, and screw you...", and I also thought we should have one list---just not date of hire. If you can agree to that--then we have a deal...
Bye Bye--General Lee
