at a previous airline, they had to fire a "plus" size FA when the FAA would not allow her to use a seat belt extension in the FA jumpseat. True story....... she also exceed the 180 lb. seat limit (was told by MX of that limit so I don't know if it was true or not).

Sad thing is that it has written lawsuit all over it. The manufacturer for not designing a heavy-duty seat, longer seatbelt, etc.

Require FAs to hold a valid medical, with appropriate height-to-weight ratio etc. like in the rest of the world.
 
Ii have to admit, when I walk through the concourses in Europe and see the Thai and Cathay and even the Lufthansa cabin crews, then turn my head and observe my own Delta crew, I hang my head in shame.
 
A size 28 dress?!? They have that? I could cover my Volkswagen with that!

The red color would make it easy to find my car in the lot.....

And your distant second is no better... We passed a Singapore A380 today.. I could only imagine the crew... All 35 of their FAs wouldn't weigh as much as our 757 compliments.... :)
