Anyone can have a bad day. We need to be aware of that fact and act humbly in response to our coworkers.
However, with another high profile incident just today by anti union pilots (remember the Phenom crew was anti union too until the IBT came to their aid) owners should start to wonder if the promises of the Red Label program equate to the safety promised. While the company is expectedly close vested about these facts, we all secretely know the rules to being an FoK equate to less professionalism not more. The crew on this airplane is notoriously everything that means.
Fact is we are paid to be safe and reliable, not to push the envelope. We are paid to take the heat and stand our ground regarding decisions that might not be popular with owners or dispatchers when lives or expensive equipment is on the line. That is true professionalism.
I'm glad no one was hurt today but the bad news is we all know we aren't going to remain that lucky if things keep going this way.
