5 guys is definitely good to, it's like the East Coast equiv to In and Out.

Gone

I'm back in the AF, going on my first cross country tomorrow in the T-38, plan on checking up on the "Tinker Burger" for lunch.[/QUOTE]

Sadly, no more Tinker Burgers.

Forgot a couple-Downwind at PDK-freakin' HUGE burger ! Also, try windows at GSP-they really char-grill the burgers. But don't go by me-I liked the ones at the USAirways training center in Charlotte. They buttered the buns.

Five Guys is definitely top-shelf chain burger.

Oh, and In-n-Out still blows.

Jalapeno/Cheddar or Bleu-Cheese burgers from the local upscale store, grilled at home over charcoal--not propane.

I agree about the home burger over charcoal stuffed with blue cheese. However, the only charcoal should be the real stuff, not the match light which gives a nasty lighter fluid taste.

Rocky's in San Diego. Pacific Beach, anybody that lives in San Diego will tell you that Rocky's blows In and Out out of the water.
