yes when they see it during the "drop your pants and bend over" part of the hiring process you are done.

tatoos not a big deal. I got one on my neck and finger knuckles. For every thunder storm I punch through, I have a puffy cloud added below my eye.

The background check is very thorough, but I promise you, no strip search is involved.

um....uh oh, they told me it was part of the interview. Maybe that why they did not give me the job after I jumped up, pulled my pants down and said, search away..damm, someone lied.

How is anyone going to know unless you tell them??? No one cares if it is not visible.

I have two tattoos, both non-visible and I think the only note of it anywhere on any piece of paper is on my Air Force medical records as "identifiable marks."

No worries.

dollacrackho.... you are one disturbed individual.... Im not going to sleep well tonight after viewing Herve's tribute site.

No affect..

I pierced my dick and still got a job recently. Don't ask, don't tell in an interview. Like Marine said, the only one that knows is the AME for identifiable marks and he said "holy crap" and has never asked in the past 4 years. Live your personal life how you want to, then worry about a job in the aviation field.

they dont ask, so dont worry about it. I have one on my arm that might show if i am wearing a short sleeve short, so during training walking around the training center, i tried to hide it as muchas possible. During SIm, the instructors saw it and asked the see the whole thing, so I showed them. No big deal.

the only time its gonna affect you is if you apply to a Japanese airline, i.e. JAL or JALways

Now that's funny as $h!t! Thanks for the laugh, G200!

Isn't there a male pilot running around with long hair. I've heard he always wears his pilot hat and keeps the hair up in the hat so it's unnoticeable.
I don't know which airline he's with; anybody hear of this guy?

Yeah, I see them. Not down the back long, but well past the collar. Fat, smoking, coke bottle glasses...so who the f_ck cares about a tat or two. I've got em all over...but covered in a dress shirt so who cares.
