The 747 would be fun to fly, but I fear at this point it is out of reach for me.

Aerostar is a little faster than a 58 I think. Never flew it though, had a buddy at the commuter that used to fly one for airnet back in the day. We passed freight to each other every night for 6 months in PHL then ended up in the same newhire class at the commuter.

Sadly the 747 is now out of reach for me too, currently furloughed due to union/merger/strike retaliation/mgmt. pi$$ing contest between the parties involved. Oh well, I never thought I would get to fly a 747 until the major furloughed me.....might get to do some other fun job that I thought I would never get to do! On the plus side I have recall rights to two different carriers now. Keep this up and I will have a full collection of airline uniforms in no time!!!:eek:
