T-Mobile offers a plan on there website for an additional $20 per month where you get unlimited international emailing using a BlackBerry.

It says that you must be using a carrier that provides GPRS Internet service to send or receive e-mail. Has anyone used T-Mobile internationally for email, and if so, how is the service?

yes, T-Mobile has great coverage internationally. The are of comparison in Europe as Verizon or Cingular is in the US in terms of coverage...

the t-mobile service on our blackberries works great. have only found two places where it doesn't work - japan (no service at all since japan is on a different system than any us system - we rent a phone on arrival) and saudi (the SMS phone text messaging and phone call functions worked perfectly, but the email system wasn't compatible).
